ALERT CHANNEL
New feedback, announced in Discord
Connect a channel once and every new thread posts a rich embed the moment it lands — the author, the comment, and a link that opens the exact page it was pinned to.
Available on Pro and above.
HOW IT WORKS
What happens when feedback arrives
Credentials are encrypted at rest, every delivery records its outcome, and a failing integration never blocks the feedback itself.
On new feedback
A rich embed posts to your channel: who said it, the comment, and a “View on page” link back to the pinned element.
Two ways to connect
Pick a channel through the guided connection, or paste a Discord webhook URL from the channel's Integrations panel.
Toggled per project
Connect once for the workspace, then turn Discord on or off per Annot8 project.
GOOD TO KNOW
Before you connect Discord
The specifics that save a support ticket — the same ones the docs lead with.
Manage Webhooks permission
Creating a webhook needs the Manage Webhooks permission on that channel, and webhooks are deleted along with their channel.
Bursts can throttle
Discord rate-limits webhooks per channel — a burst of feedback can be briefly throttled, and each delivery's outcome is recorded either way.
Feedback in, Discord notified, nothing re-typed
One script tag on the site, one connection to Discord, and the pipeline runs itself.
