Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Our goal

Annot8 aims to make its marketing site, dashboard, embedded widget, public forms, and feedback portals usable by people with disabilities. Our engineering target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, but this statement is not a claim that every route and state has completed independent conformance testing.

Measures in the product

  • Semantic headings, labeled controls, titled iframes, status/error announcements, and visible keyboard focus
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, dialogs, forms, tabs, public reports, account export, and destructive confirmation
  • Reduced-motion support and interfaces that do not depend on animation to reveal content
  • Text alternatives for icons and images where they convey meaning
  • Color systems designed with readable text contrast and non-color labels for important states
  • AI replies and transcripts labeled in text rather than only by icon or color
  • Removal of aria-hidden from the ancestor that contains the interactive widget iframe

Known limitations

  • Point-and-click annotation, element inspection, region dragging, screen recording, and page pins need additional non-pointer alternatives and manual assistive-technology testing.
  • Some dense dashboard states and third-party authentication/checkout interfaces may not yet meet every WCAG 2.2 AA criterion.
  • User-submitted screenshots, recordings, attachments, and public content may lack captions or text alternatives supplied by their author.
  • A complete independent keyboard, screen-reader, zoom/reflow, contrast, touch-target, and mobile audit is still scheduled before an unrestricted global launch.

Request help or report a barrier

Email accessibility@annot8.app with the page or feature, assistive technology/browser/device, expected result, and what prevented completion. If email is not accessible, use the Contact page and write “Accessibility” in the subject. We will prioritize a reasonable alternative and correction based on impact and feasibility.

Compatibility

Annot8 is intended for current versions of major browsers and standard browser/operating-system accessibility APIs. Customers embedding the widget are responsible for ensuring their host page, consent manager, iframe permissions, and surrounding content do not block accessible operation.
